A special thanks to the Queens Arts Council for helping us line up our NY block with murals!
Over the past two years, we have received support from the Queens Arts Council to turn our dream of painting the many steel gates that line our block into a reality.
This project has allowed us to paint a dozen or so roll-down gates with murals by LoLo YS, Hugo Gyrl, KASHINK, Sickid, Heesco, and more.
The murals vary greatly, but a prevalent theme for the block is “No Parking”, a message we try and fit in each mural.
