Collection: Something Ambiguous by Yu Maeda

Influenced by Western lowbrow art, psychedelic art, and individualism, as well as Eastern mandalas, Buddhist art, and animism, Yu Maeda moves back and forth between East and West in his paintings, sculptures, and animations to explore new forms of visual expression.
The artist tries to reconstruct the complex and organic shapes of nature and living things using simple circles, straight lines, and curves to create images that can be viewed from multiple perspectives.
