Delana Delgado is a Puerto Rican American film photographer born and raised in San Diego, California. Delana applies her anthropological background to her community work and photography. Delana is the founder and co-curator of ‘Around the Way Girls', a visual ethnographic group project which pays homage to the culture & women who raised & inspire her. Like her photography, ATWG hopes to bring more visibility and make a collective space at the table for self-taught, under-represented, femme, film photographers like herself, while honoring and capturing the beauty of her community.
