About the artist:
Mexican born, Los Angeles based artist Fishe explores the line between his fine art, studio practice and his devotion to creating clandestine work on the street. His studio work and muralism are influenced by his interest in sacred geometry, opart and the textures and mediums that are drawn from his graffiti traditions. This work often uses layered patterns, various 3d geometric forms and opart as textures to trick the eye. His clandestine work is still planted in the west coast style that has become an influential aesthetic worldwide. In recent years his practice and energy are focused on creating works on paper, and canvas.
