About the artist:
Growing up in Southern California, Roshi has developed a vibrant visual storytelling style inspired by multicultural urban landscapes and the wild art styles bred through skateboarding, graffiti, and psychedelic rock subcultures mixed with the personal search for commonality within diverse and often fractured landscapes. Highlighting the experiences of transformation and healing within subjective lens contrasted against the outer visage of portraiture, his work beckons reflection on a generation of healers and modern soothsayers effecting interpersonal change and the shifting of mass views on reality and individualism.
