About the artist:

Vanessa Torrez is a Chicana artist whose roots are buried deep in Colorado and New Mexico. However, she has found her heart and passion in Los Angeles. Her fondest childhood memories are of protesting with her mom and lowriding with her dad. Vanessa now infuses those images into her artwork and has been turning heads with her ability to capture details that only the daughter of a lowrider builder could do.
